Community Relations Specialist

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local legislators, and industry groups.
- Educate the company on community viewpoints to help accomplish business objectives, and ensure the company is best positioned to receive favorable support from municipalities and communities.
- Attend community events, fundraisers, and industry seminars.
- Facilitate planning and implementation of events and other activities.
- Ensure timely and effective communications with municipal leaders on permitting, and/or maintenance activities.
- Identify corporate giving opportunities within assigned territory and at regional and statewide levels.
- Collaborate and work cross functionally with relevant departments within the company.
- Deep understanding of the Greater Boston area
- Availability to attend community meetings or events outside of regular business hours.
- Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate company positions to various audiences.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Relations or related field
The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
