The Contract Administrator is responsible for the preparation, review, execution, and ongoing administration of contracts supporting the company's fuels marketing business unit. This role serves as a key liaison between business units, legal counsel, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance, mitigate risk, and support operational objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience managing commercial agreements in a regulated energy or petroleum environment.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Coordinate contract reviews with legal, finance, operations, procurement, environmental, and risk management teams.
  • Track contract approvals, execution status, renewals, amendments, and expirations.
  • Maintain contract files and records in the company's contract management system (currently CoStar).
  • Ensure all executed agreements are properly documented, distributed, and archived.
  • Facilitate external Docusign process, including creation of envelope, uploading of documents for signature and monitoring of envelopes in process.
  • Perform clerical tasks as needed (e.g., make copies, create folder labels, prepare packages, write generic cover memos, etc.).
  • Organize and maintain contract correspondence and create and/or maintain databases to track contracts.
  • Communicate and work with counterparties to obtain countersigned contracts/confirmations.
  • Inputs, verifies, and updates permit applications data for various outside agencies.
  • Interacts with a variety of individuals and groups in the performance of job responsibilities, including various internal department and outside agencies.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in Legal Operations, Legal Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills​
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills​
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines​
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal technology applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel in particular
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal

Pay Range

$25.38 - $35.43

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
