Fleet Sales and Operations Analyst

The Fleet Sales and Operation Analyst is responsible for managing customer fuel usage, cost optimization, and performance analysis across a customer's fleet team. This role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement to ensure fuel efficiency, cost control, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate combines operational knowledge of fleet fueling and fuel cards with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive customer relationship strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and trends.
  • Design and implement customer feedback mechanisms, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to customer engagement.
  • Assist with the implementation and management of billing and reporting systems and technologies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze fuel consumption data across fleet assets to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities for current and future customers
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports tracking fuel spend, usage patterns, and variance against budget.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on fuel overages, losses, or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions for current and future customers
  • Support and analyze fuel budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile monthly fuel card invoices, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining relationships with fuel providers.
  • Data Analysis: Review fuel invoices, usage reports, and performance data.
  • Cost Management: Identify inefficiencies, budget for fuel, and recommend savings internally and externally
  • Reporting: Create reports and presentations for management on KPIs and fleet performance.
  • System Management: Maintain and use fleet management software for tracking and analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and fuel regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
  • Proficiency with CRM data visualization tools and software
  • Experience with fleet management systems.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create strong relationships with internal and external customers

Pay Range

$73,600.00 - $110,400.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
