Retail Marketing Generalist

The Retail Marketing Generalist supports the planning, development, and execution of in-store and cross-channel marketing initiatives across the retail footprint. This role manages marketing project intake, develops clear and actionable marketing briefs, coordinates creative and production workflows, and ensures marketing assets are accurate, brand-aligned, and delivered on time. The position partners closely with Operations, Merchandising, Loyalty, Food Service, Creative Services, and external vendors to drive consistent execution and a strong in-store guest experience. The Retail Marketing Generalist also contributes to continuous improvement through campaign reporting, field insights, and process optimization, helping ensure marketing programs are effective, scalable, and operationally sound.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Manage promotional and marketing requests from intake through execution, ensuring clear requirements, timelines, and prioritization.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing and creative briefs that outline objectives, audiences, messaging, deliverables, specifications, and execution requirements.
  • Support all facets of new store openings and refreshes, from campaign planning to signage installation.
  • Review proofs and final assets to ensure brand consistency, correct specifications, and alignment with approved strategies.
  • Support development and deployment of in-store marketing assets and content, including signage and other physical or digital touchpoints, ensuring timely refreshes and consistency across locations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Category Management, Food Service, Loyalty, and Operations to validate details, timelines, and setup requirements.
  • Partner with Operations to support launch readiness, installation coordination, and consistent field execution across the retail footprint.
  • Maintain and organize key marketing information around digital signage, assets, and playlists. ·
  • Support and traffic app content and asset development, acting as the clearinghouse for app creative needs.
  • Gather field feedback, performance data, and operational insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. ·
  • Support campaign reporting and analysis, contributing recommendations to optimize future promotions and workflows. ·
  • Provide support on additional cross-channel marketing initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three [3] years of hands-on marketing experience, 1-2 years of developing and implementing marketing strategies, preferably within the retail or hospitality industry.
  • Experience writing creative briefs, working with designers and a thorough understanding of the creative process

Pay Range

$73,600.00 - $110,400.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
