Regional Asset Protection Manager

Field Based VT/NY

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal investigations as directed by leadership.
  • Ensure execution and compliance of all global asset protection initiatives/shortage reduction programs within stores.
  • Assess store and market needs to ensure asset protection resources such as Close Circuit Television (CCTV), burglar alarm systems, physical security and manpower) are properly deployed.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews within the region for inventory, cash loss, and breach of company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate store inventory and losses and communicate with local law enforcement, when needed.
  • Proactively monitor controls to identify associate theft.
  • Conduct shrinkage control audits within the region and perform store inventory counts; ensure inventory shrink in the region is kept at acceptable levels.
  • Leverage reports to identify potential loss issues and investigate any issues to assist the company in protecting assets.
  • Collaborate with area/regional managers and store associates on shrink prevention training, store safety, security and asset protection audits.
  • Collaborate with the inventory control specialist and store staff to identify inventory shortage opportunities and recommend resolutions

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management,     Production/Operations Management, Criminal Justice, Safety, Environmental), professional experience will be considered in place of a    bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years’ experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors;
  • managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.   

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-year experience monitoring and managing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA)
  • Professional (LPP), Certified Forensic Investigator (CFI), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Safety & Health Technologist (OHST))
