The Types of “Energy” You Bring
You find solutions to internal and external communication planning. You look for ways to continuously improve the quality of communications and the methods/channels of delivery.
You have depth of knowledge in crisis communications.
You have experience in PR; assisting in developing overall corporate strategy and work with PR agencies to support company reputation and awareness by increasing positive media coverage. Has been involved in larger PR campaigns and understands the deliverable components.
You have strong creative writing and editing skills. You have demonstrated experience working with various forms of communication such as, but not limited to: written announcements, video announcements, strategy and state of the business updates, speeches, policies and presentation.
You leverage a variety of content formats to produce highly engaging multi-media content, including written, video, photography and graphic design for internal and external audiences; Experience with creative platforms is a necessary.
You are exceptionally organized and detail oriented, capable of managing cross-functional projects and work streams end to end, able to self-manage and proactively communicate priorities.
“Gauges” of Responsibility
Supports the VP of Communications to lay out plans for the month, quarter and year. Makes recommendations on timing, logistics and scheduling of the plan.
Supports the VP of Communications to direct, coordinate and manage the formulation of and distribution of internal executive and corporate communications. Manages micro and macro crises as they arise.
Manage the content of employee communication app, emergency response systems and other internal communication or collaboration tools. Execute internal announcements on behalf of, and in collaboration with the business units.
Manage and respond to inbound media. Oversee media monitoring and development of media kits (fact sheets, bios, etc.)
Serves as primary communications support for HR leadership. Assists with collateral, presentations and materials. Ensures HR communications are consistent with corporate messaging.
Provide support to major corporate events and assists in the applications for any corporate awards. Works with Charitable Manager to ensure success, and external leverage.

Minimum of 5 years of PR and communications experience
Undergraduate degree in journalism, marketing, business or a related field.
