We’re hiring for a Field Service Technician, who will be responsible for delivering technology solutions supporting our store operations. This primarily includes POS hardware, software and peripherals such as POS registers, touch screens, handheld scanners and printers. Strong knowledge of the NCR system is required.

“Gauges” of Responsibility
Providing service and customer support during field store visits or dispatches.
Managing on site hardware installations, repair, maintenance and testing.
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions and/or escalation. Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols.
Assume ancillary IT responsibilities as defined by project and company initiatives
Able to organize workflow and schedule.
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Cooperate with technical team, share information across the organization and participate in team support queue (ticket system).
Make appropriate recommendations based on customer requirements .
Build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Proven Field Service experience
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
Proficiency with NCR/RCM Enterprise application, including administration, configuration performance management. Additionally, experience with RCM operations, SQL Server setup, user rights setup, site configuration, certificates and upgrades
Experience with other retail, kitchen & fuel POS systems such as Verifone Commander, Xenial & Harmony
Knowledge of supporting loyalty applications such as Paytronix
Knowledge of typical POS integrations for payment processing and ERP
5-7 years field service experience desired
3-5 years NCR/RCM experience desired
A background in technology, including store applications, QSR’s applications, store and networking hardware such as store controllers, switches and routers is desirable.
