The Territory Manager is a vital part of the Fuels Marketing Organization. This position plays a key role within the sales and operations team, focusing on developing, growing, and maintaining strong business relationships with Dealer customers. The ideal candidate is a driven individual with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability in building relationships. Responsibilities include managing our commission agent portfolio, prospecting for new opportunities, analyzing volume performance, ensuring compliance with retail standards, and coaching customers to achieve maximum business results. The Territory Manager will act as the primary point of communication between customers and the company, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Provide coaching and support to Dealer customers to optimize business performance and maximize results.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers and the company, maintaining open communication and ensuring alignment with expectations.
  • Build productive and professional relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, including legal, maintenance, construction, pricing, credit, supply, transportation, and advertising/marketing departments.
  • Analyze sales performance, volume metrics, and retail standards for existing customers to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Participate in monthly meetings, trade shows, grand openings, special events, and dealer seminars to represent the company and strengthen partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with partner brand programs, including brand image standards, loyalty initiatives, and advertising campaigns.
  • Validate internal reports to confirm accurate compliance, pricing and competitive information.
  • Leverage company tools and programs to maximize the profitability of each location.
  • Support the sales team by identifying and sharing leads and working collaboratively on opportunities when appropriate.
  • Review monthly P&L statements and volume analyses for all locations, presenting findings and strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Accountable for completing renewals of expiring lease agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to solicit new business relationships with Dealer customers.
  • Coach existing customers to maximize their business.
  • Ability to work independently but able to collaborate, initiate and execute sales and supply agreements.
  • A positive, entrepreneurial mindset, a consistent desire to grow and be a part of a team that is focused on continuous improvement and a drive for results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with 5 years of site level or marketing business operations experience. Demonstrated skills and ability to develop strategy, budget and brand management.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to make decisions, firm, outgoing, analytical, ability to anticipate and solve problems, excellent communication skills, positive leadership ability
  • Familiar with Microsoft office

Pay Range

$70,400.00 - $105,600.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
