The Terminal Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the onsite rail, pipeline, barge and truck rack equipment and duties. In addition, the position is responsible for day-to-day loading and unloading of all petroleum products by operating the necessary equipment to meet the goals, policies, and objectives of the Company and to maintain a safe, environmentally conscientious, and efficient quality work environment.

“Gauges” of Responsibility
Timely sampling, loading, and unloading of products by rail, truck, barge, and pipeline.
Stock inventory in designated areas
Proper completion of all records related to plant shipments
Monitor loading/unloading operations, operate machinery and monitor computer systems
Advise shift supervision about safety, environmental, quality, maintenance and production issues
Follow all required programs/policies including the LOTO procedures.
Take samples, perform analyses, and take measurements to determine product quality
Field operation of equipment throughout the facility
Operate forklift and other mobile equipment
Maintain work areas and housekeeping
Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information
Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as needed.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during operations
Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, repair and replace parts, test and make adjustments to ensure equipment operation
Complete all daily, weekly, monthly operational reports accurately
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as scheduled
Inform appropriate management of potential operational and/ or equipment problems
Maintain all Safety, Environmental and Quality standards as it pertains to your job
Assist in the developing, following and enforcing Terminal safety policies and procedures
Assist Operators, Maintenance Technicians as needed.
Handoff communications with oncoming/off-going shifts
Complete all tasks assigned by Terminal Management
Participate in ongoing safety programs, safety training and following all safety procedures
Promote compliance with all safety and environmental policies and/or standards
Petroleum product transfers at our Pipeline Terminal facility, along with daily maintenance and inventory control.
Able and willing to work night shift
Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Must be able to attend and pass all test associated with job related coursework. This includes, but is not limited to: OSHA, Hazard Communication, Fire Prevention, etc.
Ability to work manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, rain, cold, etc. including, but not limited to; shoveling, digging, and painting
Ability to wear dust masks
Must be able to do shift work including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Have good basic math and computer skills
Must be able to perform light janitorial duties
Must be able to align pipelines and valves to receive and to discharge product to or from storage tanks and tank trucks
Must be able to gauge and compute product levels in tanks
Strong mechanical aptitude to maintain and repair pumps, meters, truck loading equipment, and small engines helpful
Physical Requirements
Ability to drive a vehicle
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to walk distances up to 5 miles in a day
Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and the like, maintaining 3 points of contact.
Able to climb ladders on an oil storage tank and gangway on a ship at high altitudes.
Ability to work in outside environments which may include but are not limited to, extreme heat (temperatures above 100°F) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32°F) for periods of more than one hour
Ability to lift 50lbs
We’re hiring a Terminal Operator. This position will be a critical part of the Terminal Operations team reporting to the Terminal Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety in the workplace and all regulatory standards. The Terminal Operator is expected to perform safely all duties related to the receipt, storage, distribution, and quality of petroleum products.

Facilitate the safe movement, receipt, and shipment of product between pipelines, rail cars, tanker trucks, marine and storage tanks by strictly following policies and procedures and ensuring proper system lineup
Ensure that product transactions are properly measured, accurately documented, and conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures
Proper tank gauging by physically climbing the tanks and reading a gauge tape
Use basic analytical test equipment and follow procedures for performing and documenting product quality assurance testing
Assist in the maintenance and repair of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment, and perform meter calibration
Equipment investigation, repair/or replacement of parts.
Perform and document transport truck and routine terminal inspections
Stock balancing and reporting
Interact with government agencies
Manage drivers for safe loading and unloading in facility
Minor Terminal hardware & maintenance purchasing in accordance with company procedures
Perform terminal housekeeping and light labor duties including litter clearing including terminal inspections
Ensure safe handling of fuels while receiving product via pipeline
Promote and enforce health, safety, security, and environmental activities – intervene when necessary
Measurement assurance
Proper tank gauging
Marine PIC
Daily environmental inspections (LDAR)
Identify, investigate, & escalate issues with close attention to detail
Analyze and comprehend reports
Interact with government agencies
Perform calibrations on various equipment
Vapor systems investigation, repair and routine maintenance
Loading rack fire system inspection and maintenance
Read and understand piping and instrumentation diagrams P & IDs
Participate in security protocols at the facility as required and report incidents to appropriate parties
Investigation of facility malfunctions observed or reported including lighting and fencing
Controlling traffic and entrance gates
Inspecting visitor’s vehicles and badges
Other tasks identified and needed for safe, environmentally sound, and reliable operations

The Senior Administrative Coordinator will be a critical part of the Gasoline Distribution & Station Operations team, reporting to the VP of Environmental Construction and Compliance. The Gasoline Distribution & Station Operations has a portfolio of approximately 1200 owned or supplied gas stations under a variety of brands (Mobil, Exxon, Shell, Sunoco, Gulf, CITGO and Global) from Northern Maine to Southern NJ. Supports GDSO Operations team with office administrative, procurement and onboarding tasks as needed
Perform diverse, administrative duties and manages tasks for the team to include event planning, calendar management, travel arrangements, and handling confidential and sensitive information
Creates presentations and reports, compiles data into spreadsheets, prints, copies and scans for team as needed
Create and maintain files and effectively organize the office of assigned executive group as needed
Compose and accurately proofread letters and documents
Organizes meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary
Coding and submitting invoices accurately and efficiently for proper allocation of expenses
Tracking and following up on payments of any outstanding invoices
Build, develop, and grow strong, collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
Project support to include physical site repair request management within Oracle, presentation preparation, filing, organizing, and other duties as requested.
Provide data administration systems support including: ENFOS, environmental database management to prepare and track budgets, handle all aspects of invoicing payment process and organize environmental reporting and LINQ, compliance database – Manage store level environmental compliance documentation for approximately 850 retail locations
Work with numerous departments (Branding, Legal, Finance, Credit) acting as a liaison to move documents along.
Proactively be knowledgeable in new systems in order to train and answer team’s questions
Strong leadership, relationship-building and team collaboration skills. Must be able to take the lead and make educated decisions to keep work flowing.

Qualifications
BA or BS degree preferred
5-7 years of Executive/Operations/Administrative Experience preferred
3-5 years Customer/Client Service Experience preferred
Experience supporting Construction and Maintenance Teams a strong plus
Understand deals/cash flows/P&L’s at a basic level in order to proofread before going to upper-level management
Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to leadership, as needed.
Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining accurate records, and in preparing and using charts, graphs and tables.
Conscientious, efficient, achievement-oriented and self-disciplined.
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experienced in calendar management
Oracle and DocuSign experience a big plus
Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, format) and verbal communication skills.
